LOOKING LIKE A 4-DAY WEEKEND FOR SOME...
PERHAPS A 6-DAY WEEKEND FOR OTHERS?
9:45 PM Thursday update
The faculty parking lot at Dundalk High School in Baltimore County was empty on Thursday, will there be an encore on Friday? Reports are coming in that area schools are beginning to call the whole thing off. Snow is still falling, quite heavily in some areas, and our storm has (surprise, surprise) moved farther north than anyone or any computer model even alluded to. Now getting into the game are New York state, southern/southeastern New England and perhaps even New Hampshire and Maine. Thank you to everyone who posted observations today, it was fun to read. Although the calendar is waning, there is lots more winter in the pipeline, which will be the subject of a major post on Friday (pending outcome of school). I personally think the low temps, the refreezing and the redevelopment of snow will hamper the ability of school and road crews to prevent the ice from affecting travel Friday morning, so the call is... FOUR DAY WEEKEND FOR MOST MARYLAND SCHOOLS, AS WELL AS THOSE WHO CLOSED THURSDAY IN SOUTHEAST PA, NEW JERSEY.

YOU GO AND SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST."

10:05 AM Thursday update
WELL, IT IS FINALLY HERE. A REAL SNOWSTORM FOR THE DC / BALTIMORE I-95 CORRIDOR. We've been waiting 2 months and 3 days for this, so it is nice that Mother Nature saved the best for last. It's not a smackdown kind of snow, but we'll take 4-8 inches anytime.
Snowfall forecasts are in the previous post. Please continue to post your observations on snow or no throughout the day, especially if you are a "storm grade location" Also want to send out a special thanks to Matt, a loyal reader in somewhereville who helped me with the formatting to get the comments link reorganized in the date header.
Yes, I know that the date at the top says Friday. Only way I can preserve the comments is to move the post date ahead. Or maybe that's an omen that we'll be doing this same thing on Friday, sleeping in, blogging, watching the snow, talking about K2. If you have to be out working today in the snow, enjoy and be careful. We are going out to do a few things and I'll be back with a midday update and a discussion about K2, and/or K3.
The picture? That is the back porch of our daughter's Godmother... we call her Mumsy. She lives right next door and her flag looks much nicer than my porch, which is why I used it. If this forecast verifies for Dundalk, MD... I will post a picture of my daughter and I to celebrate our first real snow together.

Somehow my last post got deleted. By looking at the radar and seeing how the storm is moving, it almost seems like NYC is just going to get clipped. Right now just high clouds with sunshine. Are we still in for the 6" as advertised? By the looks of the radar, seems like maybe just some snow showers, and south of here in southern NJ gets a decent snowfall. Unless this stoms fill in or moves noth all of a sudden, it doesn't seem to be looking good.
Dear Mr. I-Called-it-for-Thursday! Foot,
I'm watching the weather Channel and they have a chance of RAIN for Monday and Tuesday.
Are they dumb or something?
p.s. who da man?
No no Frank it was not, the comments have been moved up to the next day. Your last post is in the previous post!
Julee... K2 does not promise to be a big snowmaker on Monday, but perhaps Tuesday. We will look at this later today. Going to Home Depot and watch everyone scramble for supplies. I am buying seeds for the school greenhouse.
Mr Foot I am a little concerned out here in Harpers Ferry. It is almost 11 and our ground is not even covered yet. It appears that just about everyone around us has 2 to 3 inches but we appear to be in some type of pocket that can not get any more than heavy flurries. Could this change or is this it for us? Thanks for the special thanks in the post this am. that is my dear husband:)
We have greenhouses at our school too. I think our AG teacher should plant snowdrops, snowball bushes and snow-in-summer!
BEAUTIFUL snow here. Looks like we have 1/2 inch so far.
Why does the Weather Channel say "chance of snow 80%" when I'm LOOKING at snow?
The edge of the snow is moving close. I hope you are right mr. foot. will the snow move east the west? The news channel say it will end in a couple hours? Is this true.
I see now, thanks. I guess i happened to look when the new day was being added. I hope everyone down there is enjoying there day off! I hate being stuck in an office while it is snowing!
1115
WxRisk just backed off I-95 max from 12" to 10"...he posted it at 0700....Hey! I'll take 10! (I'll take the BOTTOM call, 6")
Dear Julee, I think the 20% they mean is the air between the snowflakes!
Frank- We in the education biz don't have a lot of perks...but this is one of them! I'm sittin' here, finishing my interims, watchin' the snow, and listening to Koby Teeth, uh Toby Teeth, uh, Koby Keith....oh, you know who I mean!
Terpboy
Oh HAHA Terpboy -- I hadn't thought of the interstitial air! GENIUS! Thanks!
Now I see that TWC has changed Monday/Tuesday rain to Monday rain/snow and Tuesday partly cloudy. At least the "S" word is being mentioned now.
Could we be MORE insatiable? Must come from being snow deprived all winter.
Haha Terpboy, I'm still smiling from your explanation.
Lunchtime update... snowing like mad in Dundalk, sidestreets, secondaries close to being snowcovered, including heavily traveled Delvale Ave in front of school. 2 inches at my house and climbing. Don't know what the "Cloudy" business is in the forecast for this afternoon. I guess 80% of the sky is snowy and the other 20% is cloudy? While I understand percentages are climatological probabilities, they drive me and most other humans I know in the universe nuts, because they mean nothing when you see snow, but it is an 80% chance. Seems pretty probable to me it is "afternoon" and we have "snow"
Am keeping all snow amounts in place because I see the re- development thing going on to our west. When the radar shows snow ending, then it reforms. This is wraparound and it will continue for a while, dumping another 2-3 inches before all done. Some spots might lose out on this a bit, but most everyone is going to be a winner. Tonight...watch for ice ice baby, that's the ticket to a 4 day weekend.
Boston is clear, right now. Some ocean effect going down over near Plymouth, MA. Nothing major. Forecast for 3-6" here and up to 10" on the Cape and 12" on Nantucket.
Where is Andy? Looks like it is snowing in York Co, PA, right?
Many (many) years ago, I was told that when the Weather
Bureau (as it was called then) said there was a 80% chance of precipitation...it meant that 4 weathermen said that it was going to rain...and 1 said that it wasn't......
Terpboy
His office must be in the basement!
Thanks, Terpboy!
I'm here in Baltimore City, MD working. Not enough to close us down, but I'll have fun in the snow on the way back. Glad to see snow falling out of the sky for a change! Getting ready to dust off the snow blower tonight. Snow is even now sticking to the well salted sidewalks here.
Not happy with snowfall. Mr. Foot - is it going to get colder? This storm seems to be moving to coast fast - cannot get to reports - are the accumulations dropping?
This is Uncle Rico.
Now we are really getting some snow:) It is really coming down here in the eastern panhandle.
Light snow shower just moved through the city...nothing stuck. Still waiting. Looks like the snow shield has just passed over NYC. Still going for 4.5" here?
BK2 looks to be a MONSTA!!!
Just got back from Delaware county, where it was snowing heavy, not laying on the streets yet though. Here in Centrals Bucks county the snow is just starting to pick up little. The humidity is only 60%, so hopefully the heavier snow will begin soon. The weather channel keeps saying Winter storm warning is expected. I've never heard that before. Mr Foot enjoy your fist snow with your daughter. lm bucks county
Heavy snow here 2.5 inches 2 more and mr. Foot was right. looks like plenty of snow left to go.
It is snowing in Dundalk! Hooray! Just when hopes were beginning to fade! I can't wait to go play in it! My aunt took me to the WBAL t.v. station to watch the people talk live. I got to see the weather man in front of the green screen. There are NO windows in that room. One would think that there would be a HUGE window overlooking the area. They all wear jeans and tennis shoes under the desk.
3.5 inches in Dundalk and still coming down, so far that's a C. Anther 1.5 and we got ourselves an A for the hometown forecast.
Hannah.. that is great you went to the WBAL studio. Must have been really interesting.
Zak..more snow is on the way. Maybe you'll end up at 5"
E.H...be patient, I think NWS will have to raise storm flag for Boston since their call is just on the edge of warning criteria. I see the show shield is fairly expansive, and does not show signs of deteroriating as it crawls NE. 4.5 still sounds good, you might get more from ocean wrap around.
School...with a low in the 20's, refreezing is very likely. That could buy us a delay, or a closing if crews have hard time clearing lots.
I was in the field today, started snowing in Wilmington at 10:30. I was able to finish up a few more spots then started for home. This past hour the road conditions have gone down hill really fast.
5 inches sounds good to me. I love how the edge of snow just keeps refeeling because of the coastal low. The heavy snow has stopped for now here to light snow but not for long it looks like heavier bands are starting to form back in wv. 3 inches so far and climbing. Will have another snow report in a hour.
Sunshine right now, but the snow is now in Buzzards Bay and SW CT. Moving ENE with time. Playing the waiting game...show more pictures of your area...Make sure you take lots of pictures, so in the summer you can dream about next winter when its 95 degrees out.
I sing the classical winter songs. Let it snow, and Walking in a winter wounderland. K2 and K3 Bring it on! going out to measure snow.
I have a tad bit more then 3".
The snow is beautiful here in the Bel Air/Aberdeen area! I just hope it will last! :-) Any idea when the snow will stop? Will it change to a freezing rain/sleet mix first?
Thanks for keeping us all informed!
--Katie
4 inches in Dundalk and stillll snowing. Let's go 5 inches! Would like to hear obs from other locales, whaddya got up there in Malvern?
Katie I see little chance of sleet or fz rain mixing in. All snow event, and will likely continue for next 2-3 hours.
Only 2 inches in Pikesville, but it looks beautiful so who cares? Secondary roads not plowed here yet. Maybe they won't for just 2 inches.
Light snow continues. Will there be any more heavy snow bands?
Hi, Just checking in. Snowing pretty good here, maybe close to 3 inches, over and out for now, be back later, with another update. lm
HEAVY SNOW WARNING for the city of Boston...posted by the NWS with 4-8" likely.
3-6" NW
8"+ SE
Lets get snowing!!!
8 inches outside my office in Silver Spring.
This is Uncle Rico.

ARE YOU GOING TO RAISE YOUR SNOWFALL AMOUNTS? Seems like you should...
About 4" so far here in Pittsburgh and it is still coming down.
I was on t.v. for fencing! A lady from WBAL came to our club and I was in the backround fencing. Jennifer F. I don't know how to spell her last name. Sorry. I thought it was really cool. Hooray for snow!!! Hopefully we will be late or off tomorrow.
About 3 1/2 inches here in Southern York County, with moderate to heavy snow falling.
So what do the Balto Metro teachers think about school Friday?
1. Will the secondaries refreeze enough that a 2 hour delay is ineffective and thus they must close? Then we get a 6 day weekend because K2 is looking more ominous with time. Might be a redux of this storm.
OR
2. Will districts start with a 2 hour delay and see how much melting can take place by 7AM. Then decide at that point to keep delay in place or not.
OR
3. Will trucks be able to plow and lay down enough salt in the next 10 hours that refreezing is counteracted and we are on time Friday morning
Participate in our LIVE VOTE!
I vote 1! of course. More snow on the way?
I don't know how things work down there, but 5" of snow that already has fallen wouldn't cancel schools up here. HOWEVER, why not I vote 2. for 2 HOUR DELAY.
I wish I could vote for #1,
but I am afraid that #2 is more realistic.
By the way, we are waiting
with bait on our breath
(as I read in a student's writing once)
for some thoughts on Monday/Tuesday/K2...
As Julee said, Mr. Foot --
You da man!
No, I ain't da man... YOU da man!
Harpers Ferry is checking in with a little over 3 inches and still lightly snowing.
Mr. Foot,
What do you think about K2. Will it be much more than the 4-8 inches our region has gotten today? Hopefully more than a redux of this. While nice today, not enough to close everthing down.
This is Andy.
forgot to say that I would have to say that 2 is probably more realistic. However 1 would be great!!!
I loved having today off!! I'm a teacher in Balto County and I say definitely two hour delay. However, with the snow they are calling to reform tonight and continue until 1am...I'm hoping they will cancel. They are calling for at least 2 to 3 more inches tonight. I think the roads will get very icy. Hopefully, schools will start calling in tonight. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh that's difficult. I know MY secondary road hasn't even been plowed once!
Option 2 is almost more trouble than it's worth. I don't know if the BoE knows it, but some of our kids are on a bus for an hour, or more. They could get caught in the middle of that decision.
So it's either two hour delay or close. Clearly temperature dependent,i.e.,just HOW early in the a.m. the temps will rise above freezing.
I vote close (1) and skip the guess work.
OH LOOK! Linda Fitchett, the person in charge of calling off school, is on TV RIGHT NOW!
Mr. Foot -- call her up!
Im thinking and hoping #1, but only if we get some kind of snow later in the night. If we dont have any late night fluff then sadly a #2. :(
1820 hours
Fallston (Md)
neg 3.5 C
3.5 measured inches
School's out? I really believe it depends on when the snowfall stops..
Guess right now?Harford County (where I live)- off
Baltimore County (where I work) - 2 hours late...
Terpboy
I vote for #1, you all deserve a really long weekend. and i hope they call it off tonight so that you can all enjoy the snow. lm
still snowing pretty good.
4 inches so far mr. foot alittle more and you got it right on the dot. Snowing still moderatly.
hey guys i am a student in baltimore county... snow is very pretty. I would really love tomorrow off. I would like a day to actually go sledding and build a snowman. I got homework up the wazzoo and a math test im not ready for. I am def. voting for number 1-- somehow i get distracted from doing hw when it snows.. I pray for vote #1 refreezing all the way baby! now mr. foot, how much snow are we talking with K2?
Just back in from cleaning off my car -- and when I say "cleaning off" I really mean "wasting my time."
Cleaned off the front and by the time I got to the back, the front was snow covered. Cleaned off the front again
and the back was all white . . . again.
Hope I have time to clean it once more tomorrow morning before school!
Saw a salt truck -- but not a plow while I was outside.
Snowing PRET-TY hard Mr. Foot!
Nice heavy bands over the area. The radar shows the snow ending around garrett county. However the ending band is pretty thick and looks like it is a good heavy band. This storm looks like it will roll out with a Bang!
Now remember when you are voting that you have to pick the outcome you think is MOST realistic!
Of course we all want option # 1.
If this works out just right, K1.5 could give us a 4 day weekend, and then K2 could make Monday and Tuesday a wash, so you'd have a SIX DAY WEEKEND! ROCK ON!
Temps are critical. A low of 22 at sunrise in Dundalk means 18 in Hereford. Sounds like a whole lotta crunchin and crackin going on with all the ice on the roads. A high of 32 not expected until Noon, not enough time to get melting underway. So I vote for #2, but with the caveat that they will reevaluate at 6:30 AM
Still snowing madly in Dundalk, at least 4.5 inches thus far.
EH, I will raise my Logan Airport number to 6 inches. Everything else stays on track. Snow shield definitely going much farther north than ALL COMPUTER MODELS EVER INDICATED, including the bullish JMA. Look back through earlier posts to see what the models were projecting.
Our schools are closed tomorrow!!!!Good Luck to the rest of you, now we are waiting on Loudoun to close. That's where my husband teaches.
I was just introduced to your site and I must say I am impressed. We have passed your web address around school since you seem to be more accurate than the weather stations. I'm voting for #1. It would be great to do a little catching up.
We just shoveled the drive and cleared the cars. Our total thus far, which was a big of arguing with the roommates, but I took two measurements, averaging at 4 inches in Malvern at 20:00. We should reach 5 inches, Mr. Foot's prediction, if it keeps snowing.
Well im goin def for option 1 now cuz noaa says heavy snowbands are developing still and i just think were goin to have too much ice.
If it keeps snowing like it did when I was outside, I say Option 1. I was only outside for 20 minutes and cleaned my car off three times before I finally gave up.
At 7:15 p.m. we were up 2 inches from this afternoon.
So what ABOUT K2???????? Not that I'm interested . . .
See EH I told you that patience would pay off... I trimmed my numbers earlier because it seemed bulk of precip was heading out to sea. But I now notice that the High has stayed parked just above NY state. This likely feeding moisture into what is called a "deformation zone" where snow crystallization occurs more readily. Plus you have inflow from the ocean which may push totals closer to the 8-12 that I originally advertised
WOW! Still snowing here in Northern Balt Co! Am hoping that it is doing the same in Howard County where I work... I needasnowday again! ;-) What are the chances Mr. Foot.. I am hoping for the #1 option!
I think these additional snow bands are the death knell for school on Friday in the Baltimore Metro region. I took a walk up to our school, and the custodian staff had obviously cleared the sidewalks, the lots and roads were very slushy, icy and not plowed. (This is not a criticism of their work, but a praise for Mother Nature). I will go out on a limb and clang the gong for NO SCHOOL FRIDAY. All it takes is for one district to wave the white flag, and it is a snowball effect. Puns intended. Now I'm off to watch Harry Potter 3 with Mrs. Foot. Hopefully the movie will give me some magical ideas to cook up for K2.
WOW!!!
How confident are you with that 8-12" range. Are you going to raise your grade number over 6". Maybe 9"?
Light flurries are in the air now...radar quickly filling in, however.
Do you think the tv forecasters will raise their numbers too. Most of them are calling for 3-6".
We goin to have an update tonigth?
Snowing moderately now...already a quick dusting on cars and sidewalks. 7" is my forecast.
This is E.H. Boston.
Is 15" or more a possibility here with BK2?
It is still snowing here Mr. Foot 5". Nice prediction. 5.5" is my final prediction with snow still falling back to are west.
test
i think no school friday... anne arundel county has already decided to close.. i think baltimore county will follow hopefully they will say something in the next hour and a half
Dr Weatherhead Foot
Test worked. NannyM and I are official bloggers
still snowing @ 106 Cecily on WPVI says TGC is closed.
what say you?
hi uncle rico.
next time i am in KC ( or your in PHILA) we can meet and we'll flip to see who buys dinner.
YOD
The only update will be a picture of current conditions, and links to regional observations. Was up late last night but it paid off. Lotsa ice tomorrow morning, will be interesting to see how this plays out. Will do a full overview of K2 pending situation with school. Still snowing buckets in Dundalk, 4.75 inches and climbing toward the golden A. Watch your radar as that is best indicator of what's really happening.
Welcome back YOD. Was that a test of the TGC emergency cancellation system?
4.25" at 9:30 PM in Perry Hall. Our side streets are ugly and Bel Air Rd is pretty dicey, too. Count me in as one of the Balto. Co. bell clangers for tomorrow as a day off!! Here's to having a chance to grade more papers!
at the last check we were a little over four inches and it is snowing hard. Looks wonderful!!!!!
Congrats Mommy of 3, you're the first to clang the gong, hope more clangers join the chorus.
So far 5" and still snowing pretty hard in central NJ by Rutgers. Looking like an A+ for the 6" call for Rutgers MR. Foot! Good call!
5 inches of snow here in York County. Still moderate snow. A little of a breeze makes it hard to take a perfect measure, but no doubt in my mind that we have an easy five at this point 10:20 pm. I can't seem to buy a day off of work, but if we are talking about a foot of snow with Kahuna 2, then I am optimistic about at least one day off from my insanity!
Well accuwx now has us for an all snow event sun night into tuesday... id liek if this forecast didnt change.... it also appears temps are being lowered... we want the cold air to stay for this baby say the models soo much moisture!!!! ahh im excited already to start analysis on this one!!!
I am really hoping for #1!!! I am still leaning towards #2 though. Just in case. Good night everyone. Sleep well. I hope I'll awaken to naught but good news! Nighty night!
Boston Snow:
Accumulation: 1"
Conditions: Mod. Snow (0.5 mi.)
Fox 25 News: 2-4"
WB56 News: 3-6"
NWS: 4-8"
I do not like Fox 25 News anymore...
E.H. you are one greedy powderhound! That's a good thing. I hope you guys get a foot out of this one in bean town, and then maybe a monsta, for the grand finale to WINTER! Let's all pray Kahuna 2 gives us one heck of a show. I MISS MY 33 INCHES FROM 2003, wouldn't a repeat be nice for us all!
That it would Andy, that it would.
Don't look now, but Stormin' Norman (Ch. 2 Baltimore)
is referring to something for Monday.
I think he used the phrase
"snow-like precipitation"... hmmm...
He did NOT use the term "six-day weekend"...
While I am not assuming the Big 6,
it is fun to think about...
Waiting for the word from Balt. Co.,
sign me... Chip from the HZ
Uh-oh...
the BCPS.org site has been changed
from today's banner which said
"All schools closed due to inclement weather."
to...
"All schools operating on normal posted schedule."
So, folks, I guess we are in school tomorrow...
Oh well...
No Chip, BCPS is doing that only because they have not made the decision yet. With midnight approaching they have to refresh the website. I think the district plays hard to get with snow because during the blizzard they went on a day-by-day basis until Wednesday, at which time I remember the announcement was "closed remainder of the week." Here's my call:
Cecil: Closed
Harford: Closed
Carroll: 2 hr delay or closed
Frederick: 2 hr delay or closed
Balto County: Closed
Balt City: 2 hr delay
Howard: Closed
Anne Arundel: Already closed
DC schools already 2 hr delay, will eventually close. Some Northern VA schools already closed. Do I hear the sound of a broom making a clean sweep?
Remember all that slush is going to freeze solid in the next 3-4 hours. Crews will have a lot to cleanup, and 5-8 hours to do it starting right now. I think Mother Nature and Powderhounds rule the day on this one. Night night, see you all bright and early for the 5-5:30 AM roundup.
BTW... 5 solid inches in Dundalk as snow is tapering off. SOLID A on that one, baby.
I can't believe Baltimore County! Even if they WANT to close schools tomorrow, they'll make us wait til the last POSSIBLE minute to tell us. WHAT are they trying to prove?
We now have 5 inches in Pikesville and it's STILL snowing. I'm hearing a little "crunching" from the roads outside.
XX (fingers crossed)
Next prediction is for Julee. BCPS wants you to work off a little sweat for this decision of theirs. They aint gonna toss it out there like cheap candy. No you have to toss and turn in bed for at least 2-3 hours, then wake up at 5:17 to find out EVERYONE ELSE has closed, and Jamie Costello will be saying, "Well we're waiting to here from Baltimore County to make a clean sweep of the area."
Then at 5:38 AM, the word will come, and there will be much rejoicing in the crunchy streets.
CLOSED.
Mr. Foot - you take chances by staying up so late - on a school night. I hope your daughter won't be following your example.
YOD - We could rendevous in the Phila Region - I am originally from that area. Possibly we have mutual friends? Where abouts is this TGC you refer to?
That was Uncle Rico.
Mr. Foot, you bring a smile to my face,
one way or another... your attributing of
malevolent motives to our BCPS leadership
is grimly delightful.
I must agree, though, that they are playing
"hard to get"... or another way of saying it is,
they want to make us wait and sweat... :)
Well... I, for one, will set my alarm
for the usual time, and jump out of bed and shower,
trying to ensure at least a delay... :)
6 inches of snow in southern york county. My official measure is 5.5,plus but with moderate snow and radar trend, easy 6-7 inches to close the book on this storm up here. You lazy bumbs, get up and go to work! Educate the kids! No reason to close schools, plain and simple! (Caveat Emptor: I'm bitter, no way I'll get a day off unless a foot plus!)
Hooray!
Channel 2 says Baltimore County closed!
Congrats, Mr. You-Called-It!
Back to bed...
Aaaaahhh...
Back to the Rack!
Terpboy
My we're up early this morning, and late last night too. Including you Uncle Rico.
Score another one for the Footster. (Taking bow, putting broom back in closet after making a CLEAN SWEEP OF BALTIMORE METRO SCHOOLS) Waiting to hear from Cecil and Howard Counties but likely to be closed.
Any word from Beantown? Rutgers? Bucks? Surely you are up meaasuring.
cha-ching.. HOWARD COUNTY CLOSED too!
Great Job Mr. FOOT!!
Congrats Mr. Foot on nailing this one, and cograts to everyone else in B-more for their day off. Now will BCPS have an even longer weekend? I look forward to reading a nice post on it when i wake back up! say noon-ish :)
Good morning. Most schools in Bucks county opening two hours late. Some are closed. I would say that we got about 5 and 1 half inches of snow here. All the weather people here in Pa. seem to think Monday's storm will start as snow and Quickly change to alot of rain, so here is hoping that things will change. Everybody in Baltimore area enjoy your long weekend. lm
Four inches this morning in Altoona, er, the Northwestern Observatory Station. Interested in this next storm on Monday-Tuesday. Local TV is calling for a foot. Mr. Foot?
We got ourselves a WINNA!!!
I was just outside measuring...and my ruler was JUST OVER 8"! I checked the SPOTTER REPORT and Logan did recieve 8". So that is the FINAL WORD here.
Woburn: Sister measured 5"
6.3" at Rutgers. I think you called for 6" So you nailed it. A+ on this one!
Just in from cleaning another 3 inches off of my car!
My pillow and I would like to thank you for your judicious call Mr. Foot! We became *very* close at 5:38 this morning.
I wonder if BCPS knows how ticked parents get when they make them wait for school closing decisions? I hear it all the time from working parents because they must make split second arrangements for their kidlets based on BCPS's whims.
Oh, and one of AOL's headlines this morning? "Winter's Worst May Yet Come" -- about two storms on their way to the east coast. Know anything about that?? Heh heh.
Thanks again for another enjoyable winter interlude! You ARE the best.
