BRIGHT AND SUNNY DAYS ARE COMING SOON

100_0021

Yes there is another pesky storm on the way, which will bring some rain late in the day to the Mid-Atlantic, and overnight into Saturday for New England. The whole Easter Weekend looks to be cloudy, rainy and not so pleasant for the Northeast, but the flowers promise that bright and sunny days are coming soon. Accuweather has several graphics to explain how the weekend will shape up for us. I hope you enjoy time with family and remember the "reason for the season." An update later this afternoon on storm potential for Sunday into Monday.

The hyacinths shown above are from the Dundalk Greenhouse, which had a very successful Easter Sale this week. We grossed about $125 which will be used to buy a new round of bulbs and other items to prepare for the Massive Mother's Day Flower Sale.

Good afternoon all. I trust you slept well. Today is the beginning of my Spring Break and it is off to a pretty good start. I love hyacinths. We have them planted all over my yard, but they have yet to come up. Hopefully, some sun will shine on this Easter Sunday.

HAPPY EASTER! HAVE ESCAPED FROM WORK EARLY. THE CHIEF WON'T NOTICE BECAUSE THE CHIEF LEFT EARLIER THAN ME! LOOKING AT THE WEATHER AND SEE THAT 70's ARE IN THE CARDS NEXT WEEK! ENJOY THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND. LOOKING FORWARD TO WARMER DAYS AS IT IS NOW FAR TOO WARM FOR SNOW, AND FAR TOO COLD FOR DECK WEATHER. 70's WILL BE GREAT!!!!!!

Mr. Foot,

I hope that you and your family have an lovely Easter, despite the soggy forecast. My little lop-eared bunny Stanley is in charge of East Coast operations for basket making, so I know he'll see to it that your daughter receives a BEAUTIFUL Easter basket.

Many thanks to you for the always interesting winter predictions and hard work that it takes to produce them.

Best wishes for a delightful season to all the Spring-a-lings, as we PowderHounds begin counting the days to the first frozen precipitation.

Better four seasons than NO seasons!

HAPPY EASTER!!!

Just checking in. I hope you all had a great Easter day with lots of family and tons of food. I think I ate enough at Easter dinner over my sister in-laws to feed 2 families. Easter is great.

Most of the flowers are up, birds chirping, and the parks here in Boston are filled with people during the day. Looking past tomorrow's flooding rains (as Mr. Foot predicted over a week ago, good job) 60's are in the forecast...not quite your 70's, but I'll take a 65 any day of the year.

Hope everyone has a great week...
