46.8 degrees here at 8:45 pm.  I just shot a few pictures of what is left here at 8:40 pm as the GREAT MELT has been furious!  I am still trying to get to my wood so I can heat my home a little more cheaply vs propane, but alas the snow Gods won't let go amidst warm temps and sunshine.  I think my yard will be free of most if not all ambient snow cover by dark Thursday night.  I am amazed how long it has held here.  I have had almost 6 weeks of constant snow cover, and this week WILL break that cycle!  I will loas up on logs though, becuas next week just might cover all of us a little in a fresh blanket of white.  Time will tell!

Wow, that's still a lot of snow, and you don't appear to have that many shaded areas.  My front yard is always shaded by the house so it takes a several days of sun to lose the ground cover.  I can now see about 2/3 of the grass, maybe by Friday the front yard will ne snowless.
