Global Green. Local Impact.
Strengthening opportunities for aspiring female scientists

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens
can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

Honoring True Pioneers. That timeless quote by Anthropologist & Author Margaret Mead is a reminder that some of the biggest changes in our society were spurned by the passion of a precious few. Pioneers like Rosa Parks, Rachel Carson, Erin Brockovich and Henrietta Lacks  are among those whose sacrifices or perseverance inspired generations of change agents in our understanding of social and environmental impact of our decisions.

We're More Than Weather. We believe it is important to note that more often that not, a female pioneer, scientist or change agent was the one who had to take a chance and press their cause. To honor the commitment of the many female leaders dedicated to building a better world, Foot's Forecast will designate 50% of proceeds from any sales of our "Global Green" campaign toward one of the following:
  • Travel grants for female applicants to the NCAS Careers/Weather Camp program funded by the National Center for Atmospheric Science.
  • Conference grants for aspiring high school or college female scientists in Foot's Forecast with interest in attending a professional conference.
  • Development of a scholarship fund for females pursuing a science field.

How To Participate.

  1. $25 for male or female adult sizes
    1. ($20 for t-shirts, $10 for youth sizes)
